About the experienceJoin Nara, Leanna and Loveena for a journey that explores releasing stagnant energies, as we honour the goddess of time, death, and change, Kali. The circle will begin with guided visualisation with Leanna, where you will be brought on an evocative journey augmented with scents, and various healing instruments. We&#x27;ll then move into an intuitive dance practice with Nara, partially guided and then with the invitation to release and let go of anything that needs to leave the body. With energy flowing, we&#x27;ll lie down again to conclude your visualisation journey.Finally, we&#x27;ll conclude with a mindful journaling practice, with the option to seek guidance from oracle cards.Throughout the circle, Loveena will adorn our palms with intentional henna shaped in the symbol of the lotus, which symbolises rebirth and the Dark Night of the Soul. You will leave with this sacred reminder of love, offering and joy that you&#x27;ll be able to carry into your week!----------AccessibilityWe will be lying down for the guided visualisation and standing and moving for dance. You&#x27;re welcome to sit in a chair for both segments, and Nara will provide variations for dance if you&#x27;re in a chair. There are 25 chairs available in the space! Please indicate to us in your registration form if you&#x27;ll require one.The space has step free access, however there is no accessible toilet. Please reach out to unapologeticyoga@gmail.com if you have any additional questions about accessibility, and we&#x27;ll do our best to answer them.During the circle, we will use essential oils, perfumed mists and botanical sprays that will be sprayed in the air. We will also use incense. There is natural ventilation in the space and it will be a mask-optional event. You&#x27;re welcome to bring any props that can ease you into rest, like pillows, blankets or eye covers.Please wear something that facilitates movement - we invite you to come in black or dark blue, Kali Ma&#x27;s colours!There will be a small amount of photography during the event, just before we lie down for the visualisation. You will not be photographed at other moments, such as during the dance.----------About your guidesNaraNara is a tribal fusion dancer &amp; energy healer. Over the years, she has found a deeper connection to belly dancing as a form of energy flow. She draws inspiration from mystical temple arts, blending movement into embodied, healing dance. She runs Unapologetic Yoga, a community for LGBTQ+ folks, minorities and other marginalised people to practice yoga &amp; meditation in an affirming and welcoming space.
