Technology has uplifted traditional farming methods, allowing more local produce to be grown with less resources. While the process to shift towards new ways of farming could be a challenging journey, the results are promising and worth this investment. How can technology become an enabler for farmers?

Hear more from our speakers who have went through – and are still going through – this journey towards the future of farming.

Sky Urban's Vertical Farming System

Sky Urban's technology delivers similar benefits with its industry peers yet possesses other differentiating aspects. During this talk, the design philosophy and economics of Sky Urban's systems will be shared, as well as their latest development in overseas projects. Future concepts of farming systems and the inherent challenges of urban farming will also be shared and expounded.

The speaker, Mr Roshe Wong, currently heads the business development department of Sky Urban Group that is a pioneer vertical farming solutions provider. Beginning his career with the Monetary Authority of Singapore upon graduation from NUS Business School, he moved on to become the General Manager of a regional F&B chain and consulted various companies in the retail, F&B, professional services and oil and gas sectors as a senior consultant of FT Consulting.
