Each session focuses on a different theme through stories, games, role-play & reflective discussion

My child is shy / has some behavioral challenges. Is this suitable?

Yes! This program is designed for children with varying levels of social confidence. We keep groups small (max 4) and use positive behaviour support strategies to help every child feel safe, included, and successful. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out for a chat before registering.

What is the group size?

Each group is capped at 4 children to ensure close guidance, individual attention, and a comfortable environment. We require a minimum of 3 sign-ups to begin a cycle.

Question 4

Can I sit in during the sessions?

To promote independence and peer interaction, we encourage parents to drop off their child. However, you are welcome to stay nearby if your child is anxious in the first session. We’ll support the transition gently.

How do I know if my child is benefiting from the sessions?

You’ll receive session updates and take-home prompts to reinforce learning at home. We also provide simple observation notes and are happy to discuss your child’s progress throughout the program.

My child can’t attend one of the sessions. Will that be an issue?

Each session is designed to stand alone while contributing to overall growth, so your child won’t be lost if one session is missed.

Question 7

What’s the difference between this and playgroup or enrichment classes?

This is a targeted social-emotional development program grounded in behavioral science (ABA). Unlike general playgroups, each activity is purposefully designed to build specific internal skills like self-regulation, empathy, and problem-solving.

Is this a therapy session?

This is a skills-based group led by a behavior therapist but not a clinical therapy session. Children with mild to moderate support needs are welcome, but for more complex behavioral concerns, 1-to-1 consultation may be more appropriate.

Are there any materials or things I need to prepare?

All materials and resources will be provided. Just bring a water bottle and your child’s curiosity! Comfortable clothing is recommended for active participation.

Will this help with sibling fights or my child’s meltdowns at home?

Yes, many skills we teach—like turn-taking, expressing needs calmly, or coping with frustration—are directly applicable at home. The more practice your child gets in different settings, the more these behaviours generalize.

Can siblings participate in the same group?

Absolutely, if they fall within the 5–10 age range.
