A workshop is IDEAL for curious and problem-solvers who would like to experience the journey of creating digital products, such as websites or apps through rapid prototyping. This guided, Kids' intro to Rapid Prototyping is an INTERACTIVE 3-DAY workshop, happening on 3 consecutive Saturdays (13th, 20th and 27th November 2021).

This 3-day workshop aims to cover all the following topics:

1. Understanding the purpose behind digital products through experience and discussions.
2. Understand the ways to build websites in the current trends of the industry through exploration and discussions.
3. Understand the structures and workflow of websites and apps through exploration, card sorting activities, discussions.
4. Create a simple prototype for a website or an app by implementing design thinking.

This guided workshop aims to enhance the students' creativity, critical and problem-solving skills whilst also provoking curiosity through encouragement. Students are welcome to ask questions and express themselves through the activities within the workshop.

Level: Beginner.

About the speaker:

A polymath Computer Science graduate from the University of Malaya who has profound a passion for teaching others about computers, technology and everything digital! Currently pursuing her Postgraduate Diploma in Education as a stepping stone towards establishing her own tech school.

An entrepreneurial mindset has led her to establish and run Lestari Digital Education from the ground-up for almost a year whilst also maintaining her career as a learning experience designer, where she has worked with established companies, such as Lazada, Me.reka Innovative Education, Code for Asia and Coded Minds – just to name a few. Her other interests include learning about design and cognitive science and also diving!
