It's time for some family time in the park! And no place better than GRUB Pasta Kitchen where your kids do a 1-hour pasta making activity with us, while Mums and Dads relax and enjoy a teabreak in the midst of the lush greenery of Bishan-AMK Park.

Activity Timeline:

  • 3.15pm - arrive at GRUB Pasta Kitchen (alfresco)
  • 3.30pm - Children make pasta dough (hands-on)
  • 3.45pm - Children knead & cut pasta (hands-on)
  • 4.30pm - Children watch chef cook and toss pasta in pre-made sauce chosen (guided)
  • 5pm - Children enjoy their fresh pasta with parents

What is included:

  1. 1-hour cooking workshop
  2. recipe sheets to go home and recreate your pasta
  3. self made pasta and fresh orange juice for child
  4. 50% off mimosa cocktails for parents

Things to note:

  • Best suited for children aged 7-12. Children below 7 can attend with parent supervision.
  • Tickets sold are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another participant
  • This activity takes place at our outdoor alfresco deck so please dress appropriately.
  • This is a rain-or-shine event. The alfresco area is sheltered with fans for ventilation.

Frequently asked questions

Can I enrol my child who is younger than 7 years old?

This event is best suited for children 7 years old and above as pasta making requires a certain amount of strength and focus that a young child might not have.

Is parking available?

Bishan Park Carpark A is closest to our restaurant. We are located at the River Plains side of Bishan- AMK Park, close to Aramsa Spa.

Is the pasta-making workshop safe for kids?

Yes! We don’t use open flames for cooking, only 1 induction stove. The children will not do direct cooking, the boiling of pasta is done by our chefs, the children just watch, and then toss their pasta in sauce.

Where is the workshop held, and is the location safe?

The session is conducted at our alfresco deck. In the unlikely case of emergency, we are right next to the park and there are many exit points into the park.
