About this event

The bass gates reopen for the fourth time this year in the lead up to LOCUS Festival with two queens of Asia's bass music scene - heralding from the subcontinent of India.

DJ Smokey brings her unique brand of DnB with a Bollywood vibe - thanks to her unique flips and custom dubs. Combining modern bass sounds and intuitive production with cultural favourites, she is reinventing the sound of the Asian Underground. Catch her at KOB before she heads to LOCUS Festival in Bali for the second year in a row.

.Rasa blew up while streaming over the lockdown and has since blazed a trail across her native India and through the European festival scene, leaving a trail of killer sets on the likes of Keep Hush, Boiler Room and Rinse.fm in her wake. Heralded as the 'bass queen' by Mixmag Asia, her style is fluid, moving through dubstep, breaks, and leftfield bass – the only constant is a bassline that keeps a dancefloor moving.

The line up wouldn’t be complete with Rit LOCUS, the bossman of LOCUS himself, taking a break from sorting festivals around the world to sorting double drops behind the decks.

Supported by RAAJ and MC SWTLKR as well as the fine folks from @twelvedegree.events. See you on the dancefloor (and by the Funktion-One RES2s subs!)

RASA (IN)

Born and raised in Punjab, Rasa is a Bangalore-based DJ and engineer. Rooted in the heavy rhythms of rock 'n' roll and hip-hop, Rasa crafts DJ sets that are an explosive exploration of electronic music.

Drawing deep inspiration from Soundsystem culture, her sound is defined by powerful low-end frequencies, intricate percussion, and seamless shifts across genres — from dubstep and grime to jungle, garage, footwork, and beyond. Every set is designed as a kinetic space for release, movement, and collective energy, where bass is both the anchor and the driving force.

Recognised early by Mixmag Asia as the "Bass Queen," Rasa channels this spirit into every set. In recent years, she has toured extensively across Asia and Europe, playing landmark sets at Boiler Room (Bangalore and Mumbai), Keep Hush, and some of India's most prominent festivals, including Magnetic Fields, NH7 Weekender, Sunsplash, and VH1 Supersonic.

Internationally, she has brought her high-energy sound to festivals like Fusion Festival (Germany), Outlook Festival (Croatia and Asia), and Banzailand (France), to name a few.

Notably, she left her sonic footprint by releasing DJ mixes on legendary radios and channels like Rinse France, BBC Radio 1Xtra, Radio Nova, Clubbing TV, Subtle Radio, and RinseFM. At the heart of her mission is a bold vision: to nurture a vibrant, all-inclusive global community built around the transformative spirit of bass music.
