Cinco de Mayo is an annual celebration held on 5th of May, to commemorate the Mexican Army's victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla. In Mexico, most of the Cinco de Mayo celebrations take place occur in the town of Puebla where the battle took place. There are large parades that feature people dressed up as Mexican and French soldiers, with decorations for the occasion!
