OVERVIEW
In the spirit of partnerships and collaborations, and in-line with UNSDG 17 (Partnerships for the goal), The Matcha Initiative presents Leaning into Sustainability, a cross-network event that brings together professionals from the Lean and Sustainability communities.
The sustainability transition is a complex socioeconomic challenge (or rather, web of challenges) that requires all hands on deck, and can only be achieved by tapping into the expertise of different ecosystems, and forming collaborations. Finding a common objective and utilising collective intelligence for collective action are crucial to meeting global targets.
Lean and Sustainability, while seemingly unrelated topics, have many commonalities —Creating value with minimal resources and waste, industry-agnostic, people-centric, etc. Join us for an evening of sharing and connection at our first event since the summer, and ―
- Meet professionals from the Lean and Sustainability communities,
- Discover how Lean processes and methodologies can make Sustainability projects more effective and productive, resulting in long-lasting impact,
- Find potential collaborators to implement solutions for your projects.
This event is perfect if you're a —
- Lean professional already involved in sustainability-related projects
- Lean professional keen on learning about sustainability
- Sustainability professional looking for more productive ways of implementing sustainability in your organisation/projects
- Professional curious about either Lean or Sustainability, or both
- A manager looking to implement more impactful change within your team/organisation.
