Crochet for Absolute Beginners ( Part of 4 lesson Beginner's course series)

SESSION 1 – Getting Started with Crochet (90 min)

• Introduction to crochet tools & yarn

• How to hold yarn & hook

• Slip knot , magic ring & chain stitch

• Practice: chain bookmark

Outcome: Confident grip, slip knot, Magic ring & chain stitch

SESSION 2 – Basic Stitches & Rows (90 min)

• Recap + Single Crochet (SC)

• Turning chains & counting stitches

• Practice swatch

Outcome: Create neat SC rows & basic square

SESSION 3 – New Stitches & Shapes (90 min)

• HDC & DC stitch

• Reading simple patterns

• Increases & decreases

• Mini project: coaster

Outcome: Execute SC/HDC/DC + create shaped pieces

SESSION 4 – Beginner Project (90 min)

• Choose: Beanie / Dishcloth / Granny square

• Pattern reading

• Joining yarn & finishing

Outcome: Complete 1 full beginner project

By the end of the full course ( you must sign all 4 session )learners will:
