LEGENDS
12 July 2026 | Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Concert Hall
What makes a legend?
Is it a person whose influence transcends generations, a place shrouded in mystery, or an idea that continues to inspire long after its time?
In LEGENDS, the Mus’Art Youth Wind Orchestra takes audiences on a journey through stories of vision, discovery and transformation. The programme features Lee Kuan Yew, a musical tribute to Singapore’s founding Prime Minister and the values that helped shape a nation. From there, audiences are transported across continents and centuries to Machu Picchu, where the grandeur and mystery of the ancient Incan citadel come vividly to life through music.
The concert also explores the spirit of exploration in At the Break of Gondwana, a work inspired by the ancient supercontinent whose separation shaped the world as we know it today. Completing the programme is Epiphany, a powerful and dramatic work that captures moments of insight, awakening and profound change.
Performed by some of Singapore’s most passionate young musicians, LEGENDS is a celebration of the people, places and ideas that continue to leave their mark on our world. Through music, we are reminded that legends are not only found in history—they are created whenever courage, vision and imagination inspire others to dream beyond what is possible.
