🎉 Be Part of History: Join the Largest Community Embroidery Project in Singapore! 🧵

As Singapore turns 60, come celebrate our nation's birthday in the most meaningful and creative way — by helping us weave dreams into reality!

🌟 In conjunction with SG60 and the 3rd edition of Qixi Fest (七夕乞巧嘉年华), we are attempting something truly spectacular:The Largest Community Embroidery in Singapore’s history — 60 metres long, 3 metres wide, totalling 180 square metres!

This is more than just art. It’s a collective masterpiece stitched by over 3,000 pairs of hands — from Singaporeans to new migrants and international friends. Each thread tells a story. Every stitch strengthens the fabric of our community.

🧶 No experience needed. Whether you're 18 or 85, join us in crafting a gift for Singapore. As discussions are involved, this is not suitable for those under age 14 . We will have seperate activations for young families. Follow us at @qixifest for updates.

📍 Your work will be part of a giant tapestry displayed at Kreta Ayer Square from 29 August to 7 September 2025 — a colourful tribute to unity, diversity, and dreams woven together.

Secure your FREE slot now — and make history with us. One stitch at a time.

This event is organised by Qixi Fest and supported by the National Integration Council.

Qixi Fest (七夕乞巧嘉年华) is an arts and heritage festival that aims to revive and reimagine the beautiful Qixi Festival that our foremothers had brought to Singapore since the 19th century. It is said to be once grander than Chinese New Year but has disappeared for over half a century. In 2023, we brought back this festival together with community partners, growing it into an annual flagship event that attracts over 100,000 international and local attendees, and has been graced by prolific figures including Singapore's Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.

This 2025, mark your calendars for events leading up from May till our grand finale happening 23 - 31 August at Kreta Ayer Square!
