Level Up Your Listening & Communication Skills (13-16 Yr Old)

This event is for Youth aged 13-16 years old.

WHAT?

In this 2-day workshop, you get to grow with strong values, useful skills and the confidence to overcome life’s challenges. “Level Up Your Listening and Communication Skills” is a gamified workshop designed to nurture exactly that.

Using the metaphor of a tree, you’ll discover your roots (strengths and values), strengthen your branches (skills) and celebrate your fruits (achievements). Through engaging team bonding activities, you will learn by doing because each activity teaches important skills like listening, communication and teamwork.

To keep your motivation high, you and your group will earn points after every activity, reflect on what you’ve experienced and receive rewards that represent the fruits of your effort.

By the end of this workshop, you will gain confidence and discover how your values and skills can help you thrive - both in school and in life.

This workshop allows participants to:

1. Learn through reflection
2. Practice effective listening and communication
3. Enhance problem-solving skills

Trainer Bio:

Dameris Khoo is a youth facilitator and theatre performer with a passion for empowering young people to find and express their own voices. With a background in workshop design, public speaking and theatre-making, her interests lie in supporting emotional well-being using basic counselling skills. Dameris also enjoys engaging diverse audiences and fostering emotional growth by crafting meaningful, hands-on experiences that encourage connection and collaboration.
