There are many misconceptions surrounding investments; this seminar is here to demystify what investing is all about, including how you can be in the stock market and never “lose it all.”
Investing Basics is part of our beginner series, and it takes you through the basics of investing. You will be introduced to the different asset classes and how you should go about creating and managing your portfolio. We will discuss the risk-return relationship and how different people will have different risk preferences. These risk preferences may change when your financial and personal situation changes as well as over the course of your life.
The seminar will try and unpack some of the investing jargon for you to equip you with the tools you need to start investing responsibly.

For us to track your attendance, simply inform the StashAway representative at the end of the seminar. We can provide a Certificate of Attendance for you to provide to your company for the CPD hours approval.
About the Speakers:
Amanda Ong - (Head of Client Experience & PR- StashAway)
Before joining StashAway, Amanda held various roles in the Financial Services industry, most recently handling client advisory in the Wealth Management Team of Lighthouse Canton. Prior to that, she serviced portfolios of institutional clients in the Securities and Fund Services Team at Citibank.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Distinction), with a double major in Accounting and Finance from the University of New South Wales in Sydney.
Amanda is a Licensed Representative with the Monetary Authority of Singapore for Asia Wealth Platform, the legal entity of StashAway.
