M Ward

Based in Portland, M Ward is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and Grammy-nominated producer. Seamlessly blending folk, blues, country & jazz into his own unique style, his music feels both nostalgic and timeless.

Alongside a solo career spanning more than two decades, he is also a prolific collaborator. He is the "Him" in She & Him, the duo he formed with actress and musician Zooey Deschanel. He is also a core member of the supergroup Monsters of Folk, alongside Conor Oberst, Jim James, and Mike Mogis. More recently he formed Geckøs, alongside McKowski and Howe Gelb. Ward has also produced albums for legendary artists like Mavis Staples and has collaborated with musicians ranging from Norah Jones to First Aid Kit.

In this extremely rare acoustic performance, Ward will play songs spanning his entire career, all in the very intimate settings of McKowski Cafe at The Harrison Hotel.
