Welcome to Mind Art Experiential Lab (MAELab)'s Nature's Embrace: A Gift to the Mind Exhibition at Alexandra Hospital! Join us every Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM for a unique experience that celebrates the beauty of nature and its impact on our mental well-being. Immerse yourself in stunning artworks that capture the essence of nature's embrace and its calming effect on the mind.

This exhibition is held at MAELab @ Alexandra Hospital, showcasing various elements, including a water feature, terrarium and moss art, a dry garden, and a tropical paludarium. Visitors are also invited to engage in mandala making activities, which can provide a calming and meditative experience. Additionally, a virtual forest bathing, complete with the scents of the rainforest, offers a sensory journey that transports visitors into the heart of nature

We are opened every Friday from 10 am - 5 pm (Last Entry 4 pm) for walk-ins. For visits between Tuesday to Thursday, and Saturday, please book your appointment 2 working days in advance to visit MAELab: https://for.sg/maelabbooking

Are there any guided tours available?

Yes, please approach our staff who will be able to guide you through the tour. Each tour is about 30 mins, inclusive of the 8 mins virtual forest bathing experience.

Are there any parking facilities available near the exhibition venue?

Yes, there are parking and EV charging stations located at Blk 29.

Can I bring my children to the art exhibition? Is it child-friendly?

Certainly! Children are welcome to participate in the mandala making area where they can have a hands-on experience and unleash their creativity. However, we kindly ask parents or guardians to ensure proper supervision, as some artworks on display may be fragile.

Is the exhibition accessible for individuals with disabilities?

The art exhibition venue is wheelchair accessible, including an elevator to access level 2. However, the washroom located inside the exhibition is not wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair accessible washroom is available within the vicinity of the block where the exhibition is held.

Can I take photographs or videos inside the art exhibition?

Photography and videography are allowed inside the art exhibition for personal non-commercial use only.

Are you opened on Sunday and Public Holiday?

MAELab is closed on Monday, Sunday and Public Holiday. Our regular hours is Friday from 10am to 5pm.
