About this event

According to a global sleep survey in 2021, nearly 6 in 10 Singaporeans aren’t sleeping well because of uncertainties from COVID-19, worrying about health, finances and work. Not only are they having difficulties falling asleep, many aren't able to to sleep through the night.

Sleep is essential to maintain a healthy mind and body. If you are suffering from insomnia or other sleep disorders, join us for tips to getting a good night's rest.

Dr Darryl Tan practises as a Senior Resident Physician in Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and is part of a multi-disciplinary team under the Assessment & Shared Care Team (ASCAT) programme. He has worked in the Institute of Mental Health and Singapore General Hospital previously, in areas such as general psychiatry, community psychiatry and consultant liaison psychiatry.

This is part of Saturday Health Talks LIVE organised by Brahm Centre where healthcare professionals and qualified speakers from various fields are invited to conduct free talks followed by Q&A.

Brahm Centre is a leading course provider of a wide range of science-based mindfulness programs to reduce stress and enhance well-being in today's fast paced world. Course graduates may enhance their practice by joining our weekly mindfulness clubs. Furthermore there are free regular health talks conducted by healthcare professionals and qualified speakers open to the public.

 

Launched in 2012 as a charity that aims to promote happier and healthier living, Brahm Centre is a full member of the National Council of Social Services and an Institution of Public Character.

Please note that all course registrations are NON-refundable. Transfer of selected mindfulness courses is subject to a $30 transfer fee and a $10 admin fee for a mindfulness make-up class. There are NO transfers or make-up classes available for all other courses.
