In this GIAG Session, you will be able to find out more about Microfinance, and what we do in Microfinance Society. The LSESU Microfinance Society was founded in 2015 to further the aim of Microfinance: empowering the financially marginalised. We achieve this in two ways.

Firstly, we serve as a platform for students to engage in critical discourse about Microfinance. We provide a five-session crash course in Michaelmas Term to give students a comprehensive introduction to the concept of Microfinance.

Secondly, we enable students to take action through the LSESU Microfinance Initiative, our student-run consultancy, as well as our Fund Project.
