“Caregiving is a constant learning experience” - Vivian Frazier
There are over 210,000 caregivers in Singapore of which an estimated 70 per cent are aged 40 and above.* They mostly suffer from poor sleep and some juggle work or education with caregiving. However, it’s important caregivers are equipped to administer self-care in order to perform their role optimally and prevent burnout.
If you are supporting a loved one who is older, disabled or seriously ill, we invite you to join our program specially crafted to help caregivers maintain their mental wellbeing through mindfulness. Done in closed groups, attendees learn to apply mindfulness techniques of self-awareness and self-compassion in their caregiving journey, learn caregiving techniques and obtain information on relevant community support resources as well as share freely on their experiences.
Case studies and experiential sessions will be conducted to reinforce comprehension.
