Empower yourself with practical mindful parenting tools to apply the 3Cs—Compassion, Connection, and Consistency—in nurturing your children through all stages of development.


This series is facilitated by Ms Yammie Chin, co-founder of Holding Ground (Psychology Practice). She is a Principal Clinical Psychologist (MSPS, Registered Psychologist Singapore), Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner (PMH-C), and Accredited Triple P (Positive Parenting Programme) Practitioner. She is a mother of two girls.


This series run over 4 Fridays - 17 & 24 April, 8 & 15 May 2026 - from 930AM to 1100AM. It is conducted in person at Holding Ground (Psychology Practice). We are located at 318D Tanglin Road, #01-58, Singapore 247979.


Session 1: Introduction to mindful parenting principles & its benefits

  • Introduction to mindful parenting and the benefits to parent-child relationship
  • Sharing on common parent-child power struggles
  • Setting goals for mindful parenting

Session 2: Enhancing mindful communication & connection with our child

  • Introduction to the key principles of mindful communication
  • Guided exercise on active listening
  • Applying the S.T.O.P. technique

Session 3: Cultivating empathy & compassion with and in our child

  • Identifying your expectations for yourself as a parent and your child
  • Appreciation for child’s traits
  • Role-playing scenarios to practise responding with empathy and compassion

Session 4: Integrating mindfulness into family life

  • Guided family mindfulness practices
  • Creating an action plan for a sustainable mindful parenting routine
  • Group reflection on mindful parenting journey and sharing on plans for maintaining mindfulness practices


We welcome all parents and caregivers to attend. Each participant will receive a booklet filled with practical tips and helpful resources.
