We welcome you to “Mindful Supper”, a journey designed by former buddhist monk Hendrick Dhammakamo (aka ‘DK’, founder of The Hermitage Zen) to help individuals experience inner transformation through the practices of meditation, self reflection and healthy, mindful eating. What makes this unique: To guide you into a profound journey of silence, inner illumination and consciousness awakening, the session will start off with a check-in and introduction, followed by doses of wisdom and a guided meditation. This will set the tone for the rest of the evening as with wholesomely indulge in a '4-elements of nature' private dining experience prepared by "Fork In The Jungle". It's mindful eating with a spiritual twist! What to expect: Prepare to engage all six of your senses as you savour each dish and stay present in the moment. We are familiar with wine pairing, but what about consciousness pairing? Whether you want to takeaway nuggets of wisdom or new friendships, there'll be a chance to mingle towards the end of the session! This meticulously curated journey includes not only a menu designed to tantalise your taste buds, but also massage your consciousness with pure curiosity and joy! Meals are vegetarian. Details: This event will take place at Crane Villa, 19A Yarwood Avenue, Singapore, 588015. Full program below: 7pm - Participant Check-in with name and intention and DK to give and introduction and brief talk 7.15pm - Guided meditation 7:45pm - First course served, eaten in Mindful silence 9pm - Final course serve + break silence and sharing 9:15pm - Session ends, participants free to mingle What's included: An admission ticket + 4 course meal. Gear: Come as you are! Meet your host: In 2014, Hendrick Dhammakamo (affectionately known as ‘DK’) who was still a monk back then, initiated a new group titled ‘Singapore Mindfulness Meditation’. He felt the need to expand mindful lifestyle living and deepen everyone’s meditation practice. DK eventually started organising regular guided meditation sessions and shared his wisdom with more people. As the practice deepened, we began to learn more about mindful contemplations and skilful means in integrating our meditative insights to our daily lives. The sessions were very interactive and relatable to modern needs, and always involved group sharing that supported our progress. We evolved and grew as a group, along with our positive and joyful emotions. Cancellation: No refunds.
