What happens if I don't turn up after signing up?

We understand that life happens — but if you don’t show up without informing us of a valid medical reason, you may be placed on the waitlist for your next Mindful Walk. Walks are limited in size to keep them engaging and meaningful, so every spot truly matters.

Can I bring my dog / my child?

Accepted Answer

To provide a peaceful and focused environment for everyone, we kindly ask that pets and children be left at home. This helps create a conducive space for all participants to fully engage in the mindfulness practices and connect with the experience. We appreciate your understanding!

Question 3

What is DAYWA about?

Accepted Answer

We seek to provide a quiet space for young working adults (20-40 years) to meditate and practise the Dhamma. We offer 5 regular activities to the community: Weekly Guided Meditation (Zoom and in-person), Monthly Dhamma Discussions, DAYWA Cares, Mindful Walks and DOPE - Day Of Practice.

Once I join DAYWA, how much commitment is required?

Question 6

Do I need to be a Buddhist to join?

Accepted Answer

No! We are open to all young working adults (age 20-40) who wish to practise and learn the Dhamma (teachings of the Buddha) for a more peaceful life. As long as you are open-minded, respectful and curious to learn, you are welcome to join us.
