This Pride Month, MISS HOMO invites one of the most uncompromising voices in the global queer underground.
JASSS (Berlin) is a resident at Herrensauna, the queer underground party that started in 2015 and became a global name for harder techno and hedonism. Known for sets that bring industrial, EBM, grunge, trip-hop and experimental electronics together into fluid soundscapes that explore the feelings and phenomena for which words do not suffice. Her 2021 album A World of Service marked a shift, using her own voice as both instrument and message. It was released on Ostgut Ton and followed by audiovisual performances at festivals and institutions including Sónar and the Venice Biennale, alongside DJ sets at Primavera and beyond.
Her work parses out the complexities she continues to process, through sound that reaches where words do not. That same emotional depth runs through Pride, where MISS HOMO brings it all together in a beautiful rave Queertopia.
