Join visual artist and producer of ‘WallflowersSG’- Elisa Liu, in this interactive workshop conducted at *SCAPE. Go on guided art walks and learn how you can use the textures and patterns in your daily environment to create your own unique art piece!
✔ Idea curation: collecting textures and ideas from what's around you
✔ Tips and tricks for integrating drawings, paintings and collage into one art piece
✔ Composition techniques: arranging elements in an aesthetic way
✔ Adding personal meaning and symbolism to your work

Date: 17th Dec 2022 (Sat)
Time: 10 AM to 1 PM (Emerald Hill); 3 PM to 6 PM (Killiney Rd)
Participants may choose to sign up for just the AM or PM session, or for both sessions for a more in-depth experience.

Target Audience: Youths (18-35 years old) & Adults.
Teenagers, feel free to join us! Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Please purchase a pair of tickets to secure your seats for both adult and child.
All art materials required will be provided. Participants are free to bring their own sketching materials or art materials.

Event Advisory
Seating capacity is limited. A token fee of $7.50 is required to reserve a seat in this workshop.
There will be no ticket sales at the door. All tickets must be purchased by 2359 hrs on the day before the event.
All sessions will be conducted in line with any prevailing SMM guidelines.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes earlier for check-in and registration.
In the event of cancellation due to COVID-19, your ticket will be fully refunded. Please allow us 3-5 working days to process the refund.
If you are unable to come due to COVID-19, please let us know in advance so that we can process your refund and free up your slot for others on the waiting list.
About the Facilitator
Elisa Liu is a contemporary visual artist, who works primarily with texture mediums and acrylic paints. One of Singapore's emerging artistic talents, she brings an exciting new perspective into the art world through her vibrant and expressive-style paintings. An active contributor to the local and regional arts sector, Elisa is frequently engaged to conduct talks and workshops at various corporate, charity and community events. To date, she has worked with international schools and MOE schools, as well as established organizations such as Club Rainbow Singapore, *SCAPE Singapore, Children’s Wishing Well, Xin Yuan Community Care, Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH), Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS) and Touch Community Services. @elisaliuart
About WallflowersSG
‘Wallflowers: Sights & Sounds of Singapore’ is a project encouraging people in Singapore to rediscover the beauty in their everyday lives. Supported by the National Arts Council, a team of creatives from the local arts scene have gathered to contribute different facets that make up this cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Altogether, Wallflowers consists of a sound collection, a video series, music tracks created by local music producers, as well as visual art in the form of found objects and location-based art installations.
The collaborators of the Wallflowers project hope to encourage people in Singapore to pay greater attention to their daily environments and rediscover the beauty of the little things in life.
