About this event


This module aims to teach participants the importance of inculcating good financial habits from young. It covers ways that can help to give children money sense such as teaching and modelling healthy financial habits and budgeting.

About Our Trainer

Jolene Ong

Jolene has 10 years of experience in the corporate banking industry as a Relationship Manager, managing corporate clients ranging from local SMEs to offshore corporates in both local and foreign banks. In the course of her banking career, she was responsible for structuring of financing opportunities and subsequently anchored her career in structured trade financing for commodity traders. The tumultuous economic environment since the Global Financial Crisis also granted her the experience in loan monitoring and re-structuring of credit facilities. Till this day, Jolene remains on good terms with her clients, having journeyed together through the economic challenges.

Jolene is currently also an Adjunct Lecturer with the Singapore Polytechnic School of Business, where she is passionate in imparting the knowledge and experience acquired during her banking career. She takes joy in grooming young minds and is an active volunteer in her church’s complimentary tuition program to the financially underprivileged.

Jolene graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
