Majority of the itineraries for Mount Ophir (Gunung Ledang) hike starts from wee hours in the morning. It is not easy for hikers to have a good rest in the bus before the challenging hike.

We will head to Tangkak for a good night sleep before we start the hike the next morning.

Mount Ophir (or Gunung Ledang) is a 1,276m tall mountain situated at northwest Johor in Malaysia. It is one of the most popular and challenging mountains in Malaysia that can be done in a day!

A good level of fitness and/or trekking experience are recommended for this trek. Beginners who wish to hike this mountain should be comfortable with walking on slopes for prolonged hours.
