We are delighted to invite you to the Music Department Open Morning which will take place on Saturday 23 August from 10am, starting in the Recital Room on Level 8 of the Centenary Building. Over the course of the morning, you can learn more about the instrumental programme, individual tuition and the co-curricular activities offered by the department. The morning will also feature a short recital given by some of our first cohort of Music Scholars, and a number of open rehearsals which will give you a flavour of some of our ensembles.
Saturday will also be the ideal opportunity for your son or daughter to audition for music ensembles and to be allocated to the correct group(s) based on their current ability. The music ensembles that are available for audition are: String ensemble, Woodwind and Brass ensemble, Piano Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Junior Chamber Choir and Junior Rock Band.
