Step into the homes of Baháʼí devotees and find out how prayers and practices are conducted differently in these private spaces!

About this event

As part of their religion, Bahá’ís open their homes to family, friends, and neighbours for worship and fellowship. Join MCF2022 for an exclusive opportunity to enter the home of Bahá’í devotees Amy, Elango and Jes who will be warmly sharing how they conduct their prayers and practices differently within these private spaces!

About Bahá’í Faith

Originating from Persia (modern Iran), the first Bahá’ís who settled in Singapore arrived from India in the early 1950s. By 1952, Singapore was home to a dozen Bahá’ís and a local governing body was elected to meet their needs. There are no priests, docents or clergies in the Bahá’í faith and the affairs of the Bahá’í community are managed by annually elected Spiritual Assemblies at the national and local levels.
