Visit the charming Siglap neighbourhood and trace its legend through the cemeteries and religious sites in the neighbourhood.

My Siglap Heritage Tour traces the history and development of the charming Siglap neighbourhood through the cemeteries, tombstones, mosques and former HDB flats in its vicinity. Participants will also meet long time residents, caretakers and shopkeepers at these historical sites including Masjid Kassim, Kubor Kassim and graves of Tok Lassam.Dates: Every 2nd weekend (Sat and Sun) from 9th July 2022 to 9th October 2022Duration &amp; Meeting Point<ul><li>Approximate Duration: 3.0 hours </li><li>Language: English</li><li>Please meet at Kembangan MRT Exit A, 55 Sims Avenue E. Singapore (416551) fifteen minutes before the start of the tour. </li><li>The tour will proceed rain or shine. </li><li>Tour will end at Jalan Sempadan</li></ul>What to bring and wear?<ul><li>As we will be entering several places of worship, please wear respectful attire which includes: (1) a collared, modest shirt or blouse with sleeves, covered shoulders, (2) long pants (e.g. jeans) or skirts that cover your knees, (3) covered shoes. </li><li>Please do not wear singlets, sleeveless / spaghetti-strap or low-cut tops, shorts or miniskirts, slippers or sandals. Thank you!</li><li>Do bring hand sanitiser, insect repellent, EZ-Link card, a bottle of water, an umbrella, and earphones with a standard 3.5mm audio jack (for use with radio receivers that allow you to hear our volunteer guides from afar)</li><li>Asthmatic individuals are encouraged to bring their inhaler</li></ul>COVID-19 Precautions<ul><li>All hosts and facilitators in this tour programme are fully vaccinated.</li><li>Facilitators in this tour or programme are trained in basic first-aid.</li><li>All participants must be fully vaccinated..</li><li>It is optional to wear facemask for all outdoor activities.
