Happy Birthday Singapore! What better way to celebrate our nation's birthday and our precious natural heritage than by breathing in fresh rainforest air and hugging a tree? Join members of Cicada Tree Eco-Place as they enjoy a long morning stroll. On the way, take a break under a shady tree to listen to Tree Tales by our volunteer Balakrishnan Matchap. Last and not least, we will fly our lovely red and white flag on the summit of Jelutong Tower as we soak in our gorgeous rainforest. Come in red, white or pink for the perfect photo op. Please note this is a Love Our MacRitchie Forest celebration stroll (not a guided walk) so that we can make it home to watch National Day Parade with the rest of SG! Expect a nice long walk of minimum 10km from MacRitchie Reservoir Park to Jelutong Tower in Sime Forest to exit at Lornie Road.
