★SPEAKER
Cassandra graduated with a Bachelor of Laws Honours from Northumbria University in Newcastle, United Kingdom, in 2010 and was called to the Bar of England and Wales (Inner Temple) in 2011. She read in the chambers of Khan & Co. under the guidance of Ms Sabriya Khan and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in November 2012. Cassandra also holds an LLM (Masters in Law) specialising in Transnational Law from Kings College London.
Cassandra is involved in commercial, corporate, and conveyancing matters, and her primary areas of practice include corporate advisory, which ranges from private limited companies and public listed companies to multinational companies. She has been primarily involved in drafting corporate documents, project agreements, trusts, and wills and advising on, negotiating, and drafting M&A transactions. Cassandra has also previously assisted in several litigation matters, including divorce and child custody proceedings.
Cassandra is also involved in several pro bono human rights cases and is the Co-Chairperson of the Bar Council Human Rights Committee. In 2019, Cassandra was selected to attend the United States Exchange Program for Religious Freedom and Interfaith Dialogue.
