Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. It is suitable for persons of all ages and artistic levels.

Through the Zentangle Method of drawing,

Dates: (8 Sessions) (Sat)
Nov 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Dec 7, 14, Jan 4
( no class on Dec 21 and 28 )

Time: 3-5pm

Course Fee: $280 /$56 for eligible seniors ( inclusive of materials )

Materials included in the course fee:

1) Zentangle pouch

2) White, Renaissance and Black paper tiles (Square)

3) White Zendala paper (round)

4) Black & brown sakura pens

5) White gel pens

6) Fabric pen

7) Pencil

8) Tortillon

Materials not included in the course fee:

1) Plain white T- Shirt OR white canvas shoes to draw on to be brought on the last session.

About The Instructors

Mabel Yap, Lim Kim Choo and Aileen Chia are certified Zentangle teachers, taught personally by the founders of Zentangle, Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas, in Rhode Island.

Mabel is also a watercolour artist, calligrapher, urban sketcher and a member of the Singapore watercolour society. She has been painting for about 10 years, and enjoys painting landscapes, florals and brush lettering. Mabel has taught Zentangle and watercolour to more than 500 people since 2014.

Kim Choo enjoys dabbling with various form of art & craft : bookbinding, sewing, drawing, brush lettering, Zentangle and more.

Aileen's art and craft journey began more than 10 years ago, when she learnt to tat. Since then she's been continuing on her journey, venturing into various other arts and crafts such as cross stitch, crochet, sewing, brush lettering and more.

Registration Process:
- If you wish to use your SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) towards this course, please first register and pay a deposit online on Brahm Centre’s Eventbrite page. You will receive an Eventbrite Order Confirmation PDF, which you can then use to upload on the SFC website to make your claim submission. Your course deposit will be returned to your credit card (online payment) or by cheque (cash/nets payment) when Brahm Centre receives the funds from SFC, subject to the amount successfully claimed.

^ SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) Use:

- Log in to the SkillsFuture website to submit your claim using your Singpass, and upload the Eventbrite Order Confirmation PDF as supporting document. You may submit your claim up to 60 days before start of course till day of course commencement.

- You are responsible for making your claim submission within the eligible time frame stipulated by SkillsFuture.

* National Silver Academy (NSA) subsidy
- The NSA subsidy is for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents aged 50 and above.
- Arrive 30 minutes before class starts to complete the application process.
- Sighting of NRIC is required on the first day of class for verification
- Participants who do not fulfill the above criteria will not be eligible for NSA funding and will be required to pay the course fee in full; no refunds will be provided.

- Switching course dates: $30 plus any fee difference
