This is a National Silver Academy (NSA) course open to Singaporeans/PR aged 50 and above.

This course aims to teach the fundamentals of portrait drawing through the study and understanding of facial construction - features, anatomy and proportion. Students will learn various drawing techniques, as well as develop skills in expressing values, shadows and shading using a step-by-step approach.

Interesting highlights of the programme include:

Introduction to the different styles of drawing and art media
Understand the standard measures and proportions of our facial construction
Learn how to draw with volume, perspective, shading, composition and expression

50 years old and above

Singaporean or PR

Must be able to read, understand and converse in simple English
