About the speaker
Corinne is an educator at Ridge View Residential College at the National University of Singapore. She received her postgraduate (Masters and Doctoral) training in the U.S. (North Texas) as an urban and environmental sociologist. She has researched and taught courses touching on various aspects of environmental sustainability and climate change issues. In particular, she made contributions to social science and public policy research on water and energy resource management. She remains active in research involving the study of social behaviour and institutions, and their interactions with the geophysical environment. As a higher education instructor, she firmly believes in the importance and impact of nurturing the next generation of environmental stewards capable of thinking and acting critically, responsibly, and ethically in canvassing the cause of (just) sustainability.
