How can we better harness the power of technology to enrich the learning experience for students?
Join us in the NUS Edtech Challenge for two days of intense brainstorming to push education and learning in NUS to greater heights!
 
NOT A HACKATHON
We believe that products of pristine quality should not be created overnight. Teams are required to present a working prototype by the end of the weekend, but it doesn't have to be coded out. Winning ideas are expected to be well thought out and designed to match the needs of education.
 
PRIZES & PERKS
- Up to 10,000 SGD cash prize to implement the idea
- Internship over the summer to implement your project
- Working space
- Learn about learning sciences through workshops and experiences of your teammates. Researchers will be conducting workshops on how people learn so that you can use those principles in the technologies you decide to design or create
- Get your ideas heard by the NUS community. Judges and mentors will include influential professors and administrators who will implement your technologies if they find them matching their needs

SCHEDULE

4 FEBRUARY, SATURDAY
9 am - briefing and team formation 10 am - coffee break 10.30 am - workshops 12.00 noon - lunch and mingling 1:30 pm - deadline for forming teams 5 pm - submit storyboard 6 pm - dinner 7 pm - go home or keep working
 
5 FEBRUARY, SUNDAY
9 am - breakfast 10 am - submit landing page 12 pm - lunch 2 pm - 1-minute elevator pitch 3 pm - coffee break 4 pm - final presentations 6 pm - end and dinner
