About this event

Designed for children aged 5 to 13, this guided tour unveils the wonders of the ocean, inviting kids and families to explore its mysteries through the lens of art, science, and history.

"Ocean: Diving into the unknown", designed and produced by the French National Museum of Natural History, takes young explorers on an immersive journey beneath the waves, where mythical creatures from Jules Verne’s tales come to life, and pioneering french discoveries help reveal the secrets of the deep. Through stories and interactive experiences, children will encounter the ocean’s hidden flora and fauna, learn about France’s rich history of marine exploration, and understand the urgent need to protect this vast, fragile world.

As we approach the 2025 United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice, we have to reflect on the ocean’s vital role in our planet’s health and the power of collective action to preserve its wonders for generations to come. Join us for an adventure that sparks curiosity, creativity, and a deep connection to the life beneath the waves.
