Have you ever wanted to learn more about the “living fossils” in Singapore’s mangrove forests? Come, listen to the journey of Bini the horseshoe crab as she explores and scours the mangrove floors to find her parents. Will she manage to find them?

Get to make your very own Bini after the storytelling session! This programme is suitable for children aged 5 - 9 years old.  

This storytelling and craft session is brought to you by Republic Polytechnic’s School Of Applied Science Conservation IG and the Children's Biodiversity Library by S.E.A. Aquarium.

About Republic Polytechnic’s Conservation Interest Group
The Conservation Interest Group is the Republic Polytechnic’s green club that encourages students and the wider community to conserve resources and appreciate the beauty and value of biodiversity. Conservation Interest Group’s role includes organising events to promote awareness of environmental issues and encouraging individuals to adopt sustainable lifestyles and do their part for the environment.

  • All participants including adults should register for 1 ticket. 
  • Each ticket admits 1 person only. Parents to register separate tickets for themselves and their children.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult during the session at all times.
  • Arrive 10 mins before the session starts. Seats of late attendees will be given to waitlist.
  • NLB reserves the right to deny entry to participants who do not abide by the ground rules.
