2022 has been a roller coaster for the Web3 industry. Is Web3 doomed? Or the inevitable next step?

2022 has been a roller-coaster of a year for the Web3 industry - there were some ups and many more downs. Stories such as the downfall of FTX and Luna’s not so stable coin dominate the headlines. There is some truth to the naysayers - the industry is still in its infancy - but as we’ve mentioned before: Web3 is the inevitable next step.What does this mean for you? We will explore the macro logic that led to the highs and lows of the past year, use cases that have both been successful, and are also being tested as we speak, the trends we foresee in 2023, and most importantly what it all means for us; investors, innovators and curious decision makers.Titled “Off the record: Web3’s brutal year”, the event will address the following topics:<ul><li>2022 key historical events: a quick recap of all the good, bad and ugly that took place across the Web3 industry, and what we have learnt from it</li><li>Behind the scenes: how did these events come about, and what quiet developments are going on in the background right now</li><li>What to expect in 2023: providing insights and analysis on some key trends that will pave the way for Web3 in 2023 and beyond</li><li>Questions from our community: in our typically candid fashion</li></ul>Momentum Academy will host this event on the 6th of January, 2023, between 3-4pm SGT.Jianggan Li, Saniya Ramchandani and Ambrose Yew will be hosting this talk.
