Event description
Kopi-O or cappuccino? Learn how to make your own aromatic brews from 7 different coffee connoisseurs. Join us as we café (and kopitiam) hop

About this Event

How do you best like your coffee? Is it that hot, fragrant cup of Nanyang-style Kopi from the coffee shop near your house? Or is it that warm cup of specialty coffee brewed at your favourite café?

One Bean, Many Coffee brings Singaporeans to coffee factories, kopitiams and cafes to learn more about the art of perfecting that cup of coffee.

About the cafe

Foreword Coffee’s rise has been meteoric. Shortly after the establishment of its first outlet at the National University of Singapore (NUS), its co-founders opened branches at the Civil Service College, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Temasek Shophouse.

For co-founder Wei Jie, the journey started when he set up a coffee interest group at NUS’ College of Alice and Peter Tan. To finetune his craft, he brewed coffee every morning for his friends using a $3,800 espresso machine he had purchased. To stand a fighting chance in the over-saturated coffee industry, both co-founders acknowledged the need to diversify their services and offerings from the get-go. Among other initiatives, the duo ran workshops and set-up coffee carts at events before eventually establishing their first brick and mortar stall.
