Online Space Holder Facilitator Training

About the Program

Holding sacred space is held in high regard, respected and understood as an important responsibility in transforming the world.

This 6 month training is designed to tap into the power of human connection while embodying sacred knowledge, both of which are essential in being an effective space holder.

Over the course of 6 months, you will learn tools to help you better understand and authentically communicate the magic of your medicine.

The goal is for you to confidently share your voice, wisdom and gifts, manage your personal energy, while honouring Cacao, ancient traditions, ancestors and elders.

You will benefit from personal support from Laura, who has over 15 years of experience as a facilitator and sacred space holder, and support from a group of like minded individuals committed to this learning journey

Starting on 27 January 2025

• Opening Live Online ceremony: 7pm Singapore time zone
• Online Live teachings and embodiment journeys on Mondays and/or Wednesdays between 27 January to 1 Sept 2025, 7pm SGT time zone: Refer to detailed module dates and times below. integration breaks in between modules.
• Additional Guest Teachings: Diana Jean Reyes and Wil Kolen will provide us with wonderful additional online teaching modules.
• Online videos and content for learning which support and enhance the teachings of the live workshops
• Recordings of all Live Workshop teachings,
• Recorded audios of Meditations and Journeys for you to embody the teachings and practices into your everyday life with additional 6 months access.
• Final Initiation Live Online Ceremony: 7pm Singapore time.
• Further support: 10% discount on private consultations and energy healing sessions with Laura during the Training

This Training is for you if:

About Laura’s training and lineages

The ability to share sacred wisdom comes in 3 stages. We learn through knowledge, we gain wisdom through personal experience and embodying the knowledge, we then remember that this wisdom has been within us all along.

Born and raised in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa, I have always embodied the importance of honouring ancestral lineages, and practiced earth based rituals. The deep inner knowing and intuition that guides me comes from a combination of my communing with Cacao in my personal life, my sacred relationship with Nature and Spirit as well as extensive training with experienced practitioners and elders around the world.

As a teacher and student of somatic dance (Nia Technique), Yoga and Mindfulness meditation, and a Master reiki practitioner, Laura has held safe space, ceremony and retreats for students for 15+ years.

Over the past 6 years she has been holding Cacao Ceremonies and has been in deep shamanic initiations and has trained with shamanic wisdom keepers around the world, including but not limited to;

Humpiq Nusta: Andean Medicine Woman apprentiship with Maestro Puma and Maestra Jemmita, the lineage of the Seven Rays.

Cacao facilitator training by Lisa Davis, initiated as a Sacred Andean Paqo, South Africa. Shamanic Breathwork Training with Q’ero initiated Johnson Chong, Australia.

Despacho and Amaru Muru initiations with Maestro Edgar Kumara Caceras, Peru. Munay-ki rites initiated by DJ Reyes, Initiated Inkan Priestess and Shamanic Practitioner.

I have had the honour to hold Cacao Ceremonies and Facilitated sessions throughout the world, including the scared lands of South Africa, Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, Sweden, UK and Peru.

Laura Yates is a facilitator, spaceholder, and guide devoted to helping people remember their innate wholeness through deep connection. At the heart of her work are three foundational pillars: Connection to Self, Connection to Nature, and Connection to an Aligned Community.

Through embodied practices, sacred ceremonies, and transformational workshops, Laura creates spaces where people can reconnect to their true essence, root deeply into the wisdom of the earth, and feel held by supportive, like-hearted community.

Her journey has been one of personal transformation—walking the path from burnout and disconnection to a life of purpose, guided by nature’s rhythms and the wisdom of ancient traditions. She now shares these learnings through her offerings, empowering others to slow down, remember who they are, and rediscover their joy.

Beyond The Hummingbird Life, Laura is also the founder of Secret Sunrise Singapore, a series of events that celebrate life at Sunrise or Sunset by taking you on a journey through music, movement and connection using wireless headphones.

Laura offers meditations on Insight Timer and she has also been voted on to KeyNote Women Speakers, offering a range of Keynote talks on topics including Finding your feminine flow, Connection and self acceptance.
