About this event

We’re an island-nation with a long history of depending on our port for survival. But have you ever ventured beyond the heart of the city to explore this said port and its associated facilities along the coast? Visit the port at Pasir Panjang Terminal and learn about PSA's sustainability initiatives to reach carbon zero by 2050.


What you will see


Step behind-the-scenes and witness the bustling activity of a working port terminal with one of world's leading port operators. Witness firsthand the cheoreography of massive container ships, cranes, trucks and machinery in this exclusive public tour. After that, head to the PSA Innovation Centre to learn about its efforts in sustainability, automation, and digital systems. Find out about its plans for the new Tuas Port and how it is shaping the future of maritime operations in SIngapore.


Who should come?


· Participants must be 16 years or above.


Duration & Meeting Place


· Approximate Duration: 2.0 hours

· Language: English

· Please meet at Pasir Panjang MRT Station Exit A (Street Level).

· The event will start and end at the same point.

· The tour will proceed rain or shine.


What to bring?


· Bring along your NRIC/Passport, a bottle of water and an umbrella.

· Please come in smart casual which includes (1) a collared, modest shirt or blouse with sleeves, covered shoulders, (2) long pants (e.g. jeans) or skirts that cover your knees, (3) covered shoes. Please do not wear singlets, sleeveless / spaghetti-strap or low-cut tops, shorts or miniskirts, slippers or sandals. Thank you!

· Participants may be denied entry if they are dressed inappropriately.

· If you have earphones with a standard 3.5mm audio jack, please bring them along (for radio guides during the tour).

· Asthmatic individuals are encouraged to bring their inhaler.


Other important information


· Participants are required to answer all necessary questions on the registration page for the host to conduct security checks before you are allowed to enter the port.

· Participants are reminded to bring their NRIC or Passport for security clearance. Participants may be denied entry if they do not bring their NRIC or Passport.

· Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour for registration.

· Event is not wheel-chair friendly.

· Parking is available at Pasir Panjang Food Centre.

· As PSA is a restricted area, photography is strictly prohibited in the port premises. Photography is allowed only at selected points during the tour.

· All proceeds will go to My Community to sustain the costs of running the tours.

· All ticket sales are final. There will be no refund if you wish to cancel your tickets.

· By agreeing to participate in the tour, every participant will be responsible for any injury, loss of damage due to careIessness of other actions on his/her part or that of children under his/her charge.
