WHAT?
Discover a new dimension of expression through our Black & White Pastel Nagomi Art (PNA) Intermediate Workshop, specially curated for those who already have a good understanding of PNA techniques. This unique workshop offers a deeper, more reflective approach to art-making—using only black, white, and shades of grey to create powerful, elegant compositions.
Unlike the usual soft hues of traditional Nagomi art, black and white PNA sharpens focus on contrast, form, and emotional depth, allowing seniors to explore storytelling and symbolism in a more introspective way. By removing color, participants are gently challenged to enhance their shading, balance, and composition skills—encouraging mindfulness and mental clarity in the process.
Why join this workshop?
· Stimulate creative thinking through contrast-based design
· Strengthen fine motor skills with more refined finger-blending
· Experience emotional expression through simplicity and symbolism
· Deepen mindfulness in a quiet, focused art process
· Connect with like-minded seniors in a calming, enriching environment
Whether you're looking to expand your artistic journey or reconnect with your inner self through a new style of PNA, this workshop provides a meaningful and beautiful next step. Embrace the quiet strength of monochrome art and let your hands tell a story—one shade at a time.
