The Real Ramadhan is designed to deepen our understanding of fasting as a comprehensive act of worship—nurturing the heart, disciplining the soul, and drawing us closer to Allah ﷻ.Fasting, one of the Five Pillars of Islam, is more than refraining from physical desires; it is a profound spiritual practice to cultivate taqwa—a heightened mindfulness and awareness of Allah ﷻ. As highlighted in the Qur’an (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:183), the ultimate goal of fasting is to develop hearts that are spiritually alert, morally upright, and constantly striving for closeness to the Creator.Drawing from the Qur’an, authentic hadith, and the wisdom of scholars like Imam al-Ghazali, this seminar explores fasting in its full depth: shaping physical discipline, emotional restraint, ethical conduct, and spiritual growth.
