What is Phoenix Network about?

Phoenix Network is a monthly support circle for people who are impacted by retrenchment, directly or indirectly. It is a space for people to talk about the emotions that come with job uncertainties, to draw strengths from each other. Please note that it is not a coaching or counselling session.

Will you help me to find jobs?

Phoenix Network is not a job matching service provider. While job search resources could be shared during the sessions, it is your responsibility to conduct your own job search or chart your next career paths.

How are the sessions being conducted?

Each month, we will gather in person to share emotions and experiences, cheer each other on and network. There will be a curated topic on career or self-care related tips each month too.

Do I need to prepare anything for the session?

No. Come as you are. We hold a space for you to process the complexities of retrenchment impact. You will find solidarity with people who may be going through a similar path as you. Choose to share, or choose to listen. It is your space to be you.

What does the Fee include?

The fee of $15 covers the cost of space rental, ticketing fee on Eventbrite and a non-alcoholic drink.
