Before technology, astronavigation is key to the discovery of new worlds by great explorers like Wang Dayuan, Zheng He and Christopher Columbus. It is still an essential skill for military aviators with the United States Naval Academy reinstating astronavigation back into their curriculum in recent years.
Remus from Celestial Portraits will be sharing the basics of constellation patterns and behaviours, and how they affect tides, aide in navigation and in the identification of time and location.
