About the Series
Get Started in: DIY Art is a series of quick taster tutorials that highlights a variety of hands-on art forms, taught by specialised artisans. Pick up a new skill by attending one of the mini-workshops or by following the tutorial videos on our Facebook page (@artseensg)!
About the Artist
It Takes Balls is about fashion powered by the Maker Revolution, and they offer unique hand-knits in a socially responsible way. All materials used are sourced sustainably and from visible supply chains, as the team works mainly with salvaged fabrics upcycled from fashion factories. ITB strongly believes in the skill sharing movement; they offer DIY kits with Free and Unlimited lessons, and host workshops and knit parties.
Adeline is an artist working mainly with upcycled yarn, waste textiles and other industrial detritus. She creates site specific structures and installations.
