This year, Marshall Cavendish Education (MCE) is organising intensive revision workshops during the September school holidays to prep your child for the upcoming School Holiday Workshops!

Chinese may be challenging at times, but when learning with the right approach, it can be very FUN, CREATIVE, and IMAGINABLE instead!Join trainer Pei Pei to learn and explore the different techniques of both oral and composition writing and how to do well in both! Your child will get to learn:<ol><li>Strategies to prepare for the Chinese oral exam using the new format</li><li>Common topics explored in the oral exam and ways to increase one's content knowledge</li><li>Tips and strategies on communicating effectively with the Chinese language</li><li>Common themes that appear in the Chinese composition writing exam</li><li>Exploring interesting topics when writing a piece of composition </li><li>Understand what teachers are looking for in a student's writing</li><li>Good words and phrases to apply in the Chinese composition</li><li>Guided writing according to the Chinese composition format</li></ol>Do note that the workshop will be conducted in Mandarin and physically at the Times Centre. Should there be any changes to the regulations by the government, the workshop will be conducted online instead.

Speakers' Profile: Ms Cha Pei PeiCha Pei Pei was the recipient of the ASEAN Scholarship from the National University of Singapore. She obtained the Professional Teaching Qualifications from the University of Cambridge and has double Master degrees in both Education and Educational Research from the University of Western Australia.Having been in the education industry for 16 years, Pei Pei has since brought Singapore’s brand of education region-wide to Malaysia and China. Her educational interest is the teaching of concept maps and metacognitive strategies which are dedicated to improve students’ critical thinking and memory in the Chinese language.
