Primed to Perform Workshop
A 2-hr small group coaching for profession to build a 90s priming routine to reduce anxiety, increase focus and enhance performance.
Small habit. Big performance.
Modern workplaces demand frequent high-stakes moments e.g. client pitches, townhalls, investor updates, performance reviews, interviews, and back-to-back meetings. What separates good performers from great ones is how they prime themselves before a task: mental framing, physiological regulation, clear intention, and micro-routines that reduce cognitive load and increase focus.
Benefits for Participants:
Organisations invest in technical skills but not enough in pre-task mental hygiene. Short, repeatable priming routines increase confidence, reduce costly mistakes under pressure, improve communication clarity, and scale across teams. A compact, skill-focused workshop yields quick, measurable ROI (improved first-contact outcomes, fewer re-works, higher presentation success, reduced anxiety-related absence).
- Increased self-awareness and self-love.
- Empowerment and a sense of control.
- Healthier relationships and boundaries.
- Freedom from self-sabotage.
- Greater emotional agility and mental fitness.
Core workshop model
- Regulate — quick somatic reset (PQ micro-rep / breath anchor).
- Frame — set intention, mental contrasting (best/worst case), Sage question.
- Script — micro-scripts and cues (opening line, anchor phrase, power pose).
- Practice — 1 short role play or run-through with feedback.
- Embed — SMART micro-experiment and accountability.
Learning Outcome
- Choose and run a personalised 90s priming routine (cognitive + somatic) before any task.
- Apply evidence-based mental techniques: PQ micro-reps, visualization, mental contrasting, implementation intentions.
- Design an Event Plan (micro-script + trigger + evidence) for 1 selected upcoming real task.
- Use Choice Theory to convert anticipatory anxiety into agency (“I notice… I choose…”).
Important notes
- This is a coaching workshop, not a therapy group.
- Activities are adaptable for accessibility / neurodiversity — tell us access needs during registration.
Logistics
- Theme: Priming for a task or event — interviews, presentations, high-stakes meetings, sales calls, launches.
- Format: Experiential, highly practical, small group (max 3) — personalised coaching + practice + takeaway plan
- Duration: 2 hours
