Insolvency processes are generally carried out for creditors’ ultimate benefit, and the proving of debts forms an important part of all insolvency processes by allowing creditors the opportunity to prove their absolute and relative entitlements in respect of voting and/or the receipt of distributions from the estate. This webinar breaks down key legal and evidentiary principles and provides practical takeaways from the perspectives of adjudicators and creditors alike.

Yu Min is a Partner in the Restructuring and Insolvency department at Oon & Bazul.

Yu Min regularly acts in complex cross-border debtor- and creditor-side engagements involving high-value contentious and non-contentious distress situations. He is a an Exco member of the Young Insolvency Practitioners Committee in Singapore and is admitted to practice in Singapore and England.

Joffrey Tan, Managing Director, Quantuma Singapore

Joffrey Tan is a managing director in Quantuma Singapore.

He is a licensed insolvency practitioner in both Labuan and Singapore and a Fellow of INSOL International with over 15 years of experience in litigation support, restructuring, and insolvency, he specialises in cross-border insolvency and out-of-court restructuring across a wide range of industries, including captive insurance, financial services, and fund companies. His work often involves complex asset tracing and recovery across multiple jurisdictions, including the US, UK, Switzerland, Cyprus, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia.
