A mandala is a geometric design or pattern that represents the cosmos or deities in various heavenly worlds. “It’s all about finding peace in the symmetry of the design and of the universe,” says artist Saudamini Madra.

Artist and Mathematics lecturer Joyce Quek explores the use of Mathematics in Art and found the calming effect with mandala art. In this workshop:

1. Participants will learn about how to create mandala art.
2. Participants will learn about applying probability to art
3. Participants will explore the creative choices they can make which creating an art piece
4. Participants will appreciate the calming effect through drawing and coloring

It will be a 1.5-hour long workshop conducted online in your comfortable space. Before the workshop, you receive a welcome package worth $10 that includes

1. a grid paper for design,
2. a frame, and
3. coloring materials.

There is a limited space of 30 people for enough interaction.

1. Is there is a minimum number of pax for this workshop?

Yes, we need 5 pax minimally. Sharing with your friends and social sites is most appreciated, and helps the classes run!

2. Do you ship the welcome package worldwide?

Sadly, no. I am only shipping it in Singapore only which will take around 2 days for the package to arrive.

3. Is there any refund if I can't make it at the last minute?

No refund will be given once registered. I hate to miss you but you could pass your welcome package to a friend to attend instead.

4. Do I need to prepare anything before the workshop?

No, just bring an open mind and have fun!
