Project BrainForge: Solve the unsolvable (12 – 17 years old)

Brahm Centre @ AljuniedSingapore
Tuesday 2 June-Tuesday 30 June  •  2 PM-4 PM
Overview

BrainForge is a challenge-based programme where youths work in teams to solve problems, think creatively, and build essential life skills.

BrainForge is a dynamic and experiential programme where youths come together to tackle challenges that push their creativity and thinking limits. Each session introduces a problem that may initially seem difficult or even impossible, encouraging participants to step out of their comfort zones and explore new ways of thinking.

BrainForge runs as a 4‑session series, with each session focusing on a different theme or type of challenge. While every session is designed to stand alone, youths are highly encouraged to attend all four sessions to gain the fullest learning experience and see their skills grow progressively over time.

Working in teams, youths will brainstorm ideas, test possibilities, and refine their solutions through discussion and collaboration. The programme fosters a safe and supportive environment where participants are empowered to share ideas freely, learn from one another, and embrace different perspectives.

Through this process, BrainForge nurtures resilience, innovation, and confidence—helping youths realise that with the right mindset, even the toughest challenges can be transformed into opportunities.

*Note: This is a phone‑free experience to ensure participants remain fully present and immersed in team bonding.

This session allows youths to:

  1. Strengthen Problem Solving: Apply creative and critical thinking to approach complex problems and analyse challenges by breaking them down into manageable parts
  2. Build Teamwork and Collaboration Skills: Work effectively in diverse groups and contribute actively towards a shared goal
  3. Develop Adaptability and Resilience: Stay open to change and new approaches, and embrace challenges and uncertainty with a positive mindset
